Dress Code

Bramshaw Golf Club

Bramshaw Golf Club has a modern, relaxed approach to its dress regulations and hopes that members, visitors and guests will assist in maintaining the standards expected, both on the courses and in the clubhouse.

On the golf courses, a competent level of golf and an understanding of golf etiquette is required. For more information please click HERE

On the Golf Courses

Only recognised golfing apparel should be worn. No football or rugby style tops. Trousers and shorts must be tailored – no cargo or combat style. No denim jeans or leggings. All golfers must wear golf shoes (except juniors under 13 years old).

Clubhouse, Practice Area & Putting Green

In the clubhouse and practice areas (including the putting green and short-game area) we have a relaxed mantra of “clean casual”. We would like all of our members and guests to feel comfortable at our club, and to be able to enjoy and share its facilities easily with friends and family. We only ask that members and visitors dress in clean, dry clothing whilst in the clubhouse; clean, dry golf shoes may be worn anywhere in the clubhouse. We ask that hats, caps and visors be removed indoors. We request that men do not wear vest tops; swimwear and “crocs” should not be worn in the clubhouse. Flip-flops are acceptable in the summer – April 1st to September 30th.

Selected items not permitted:

Underwear/Swimwear only
Vests (for men)
Ripped/Soiled/Dirty Clothing
Bare feet/socks with no shoes (i.e. no footwear)

Mobile Phones, Tablets & Computers

Members and guests are encouraged, when using a phone, to respect the rights of others to quiet enjoyment of the club. Therefore, mobile phones should ideally be placed on silent mode whilst at the club, both on the course and in the clubhouse.

Mobile phones may be used to make phone calls on the golf course with your playing partners’ consent. Please do not disturb other golfers on the golf course whilst doing so. During competitions, mobile phones should not be used.

Mobile phones may be used to make or receive phone calls in the locker rooms, toilets and foyer within the clubhouse, on the balcony, and in the car park (provided you are out of earshot of the 1st and 12th tees, and the 11th and 18th greens).

Computers and tablets may be used in the clubhouse or on the balcony, providing respect is shown to others.
