We welcome visitors all-year-round and you don’t need a handicap to play on our Academy course. The course is perfect if you are just starting out or for families looking for a fun day out.
During Half-Term week we will be making our Academy Course available exclusively for families so you can come and enjoy some relaxed golf in our spacious surrounding.
We pride ourselves on being a family friendly and to encourage more junior members we have created a new acadamy membership package for children. Children can now play for FREE once you have signed them up on the academy course. Please complete the form below.
Playing Safe Golf at Paultons GC Under Covid-19 Restrictions
The UK Golf Industry has carefully considered how to ensure the safe management of a golf facility when government COVID-19 restrictions are eased. Detailed industry guidelines have been issued for the benefit of all staff, including greenkeepers, club professionals and golf facility managers, administrators and, of course, all golfers.
Paultons GC will be adhering to the fundamentals of these guidelines to ensure safe play for all. Please ensure you have read and understood these guidelines and restrictions before booking and playing a round at our facility.
Tee-times can only be booked online via the website or the golfscape app to ensure cashless payments and to minimise contact.
Tee-times will be available to book up to 7 days in advance.
Golf is limited to families or 2-balls on the academy course.
You are able to book golf carts and trolleys and this should be done at the same time as you book your round via the website or app. All carts and trolleys will be sanitised in advance of you using them. Please only use the designated cart and do not change from the one allocated to you.
All golfers will be met by a Marshall in the car park on arrival and they will advise you when it is safe for you to exit your car and head to the designated tee box to commence play. If you have not booked a tee-time you will not be permitted on-site.
Toilets will be open in the clubhouse, but please stay alert when using them and ensure you adhere to social distancing guidelines. The rest of the clubhouse will remain closed.
Our Toptracer range is now open and needs to be booked in advance on the website https://www.paultonsgolf.co.uk/toptracer-range/
At this time the putting green will remain shut.
Please do not sit on any benches around the facility. We have removed those we can, but some we have been unable to relocate.
All rakes have been removed from bunkers and flags and should not be touched. Holes have been filled with sand to enable safe ball retrieval.
We will review all policies daily in-line with the latest government and golf governing body advice and will also ensure that the website is updated with this information by 8am each day.
Please bear with us at this time as we try to implement government advice to ensure the golf course is safe for members, visitors and staff.
GOLF COURSE SET-UP:
All rakes and ball-retrievers have been removed.
Ball washers and drinking fountains have been covered up and are not to be used.
Where possible, benches and bins have been removed. Those that are permanent fixtures of the course should not be used or touched during your round.
Hole and Flagstick:
The flagstick remains in place but should not be touched.
The hole has been filled with sand so that the ball remains out of the hole to ensure it can be safely retrieved.
Practice areas, including the putting green are currently closed. The TopTracer range is open but must be pre-booked in advance.
BEFORE YOUR ROUND:
As outlined above, all bookings are to be made online either on the website or via the golfscape app.

Start times will be at 10-minute intervals to assist with social distancing.
Arrival and Waiting to Play:
The clubhouse and locker room facilities will be closed. The only access to the clubhouse is to use the toilets.

If you have not booked a tee-time you will not be permitted on-site.
Please follow all social distancing guidance given either by staff or on our signage.
You are able to book golf carts and trolleys. This should be done at the same time as you book your round via the website or app. All carts and trolleys will be sanitised in advance of you using them. Please only use the designated cart and do not change from the one allocated to you.
DURING YOUR ROUND:
Please ensure that you keep at least 2 metres apart during the round from any other golfers who you see on the course, this includes when teeing off, searching for a ball and playing shots.
Do not touch stray golf balls.
With no rakes allowed on the course, please make your very best efforts to smooth the sand using your club and/or your feet.
Please remember social distancing on putting greens and do not touch the flagstick.
AFTER YOUR ROUND:
Please ensure you continue to stay alert and undertake social distancing. When your round is over you must leave the course and club immediately. Please do not gather with other golfers anywhere within and around the clubhouse.
